The Blue Textile is an exploration of a minimalist approach to the reinterpretation of urban landscapes. Utilising an upholstery offcut as a base to build depth, the piece is embroidered with a strategic use of threadwork and beadwork. These deliberate accents introduce a subtle contrast that highlights the tactile, dimensional nature of urban topography.
