NuGa Arthouse showcased works by some of India’s most exciting contemporary artists from 8th to 10th September 2022 at Belsize Park, London. The works included a variety of mediums; prints, mixed media, acrylics, oils and ceramics.
The Big Summer Sale, London July 2017
NuGa Arthouse announced its Summer Sale at Belsize Park from 30th June to 1st July 2017. Exhibiting a range of paintings, graphics, sculptures by India's emerging artists - names included Kanika Shah, Pulkit Prajapati, Akup Buchemhu, Debashish Dutta and many more. The sale featured a special section on photography by Mansi Shah - Vishal Mehta and Kartik Rathod, and video art by Ashish Dhola, short films by Obayya Puttur and poetry.
Bengal Art Exhibition in Mayfair, London September 2015
For the very first time in the UK, an exclusive and rare exhibition of Bengal Popular Art: Kalighat Patachitra were exhibited at the Nehru Centre, London. This exhibition formed part of a week of cultural events including Bengali music and dance - a collaboration between Baithak UK and NuGa Arthouse, supported by Arts Council, England and The Nehru Centre.
Cardiff Mela, Cardiff, S. Wales, U.K May 2015
On the 16th May 2015, NuGa Arthouse took part in its first Mela in Cardiff, Wales. Some of the best and affordable art by emerging Indian Artists were showcased in an informal and accessible surrounding. We can't wait to participate again!
Jehangir Exhibition, Mumbai January 2015
NuGa Arthouse was delighted to be invited to showcase its collection on Modern Indian artworks as part of the 30th Anniversary Exhibition of the Kanoria Centre for Arts at the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. The exhibition commenced on 13th January and ended on 19th January and was inaugurated by Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and eminent architect Dr. BV Doshi.
Shaam Pahapalkar 'Julie Miss' Exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai

On the 17th of September, Shaam had his first solo exhibition at the prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai. The week long exhibition 'Miss Julie' was a collection of his most recent works. On display were 15 works created in oil, acrylic, and mixed media. There was also a large installation, titled 'Istri'. The show was inaugurated by the very talented actress Seema Biswas. NuGa arthouse were proud to support him in this venture. Congratulations Shaam!
'Prathaa' Kath-Khuni Architecture of Himachal Pradesh - Book Launch & Exhibition, Ahmedabad January 2013
NuGa Arthouse undertook it’s first event management project in India. NuGa was commissioned to organise and host a book launch and exhibition for DICRC, CEPT University. The Prathaa exhibition and book launch took place at the Hutheesing Visual Arts Centre, KL Campus, Ahmedabad from 29th January to Thursday 31st January 2013. The three-day exhibition included illustrative panels, video and interactive media.
An English Artist in India, Ahmedabad October 2012
NuGa Arthouse was honoured to exhibit works by British artist, Gaby Moore, 'An English Artist in India' at the Hutheesing Gallery, Ahmedabad, India in October 2012. Gaby Moore, with an art career spanning over 44 years exhibited her wonderful works in India for the very first time. Gaby previously exhibited at the prestigious Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 16 times and in 24 solo and group shows. Gaby taught life and trompe l'oeil painting for 17 years and has won numerous international awards.
Indian Artists of Yesteryear, London June 2012
NuGa Arthouse was proud to exhibit for the first time in London, works from the 1900s showcasing veteran Indian Artists of Yesteryear. The exhibition took place at the M.P. Birla Millennium Art Gallery at the Bhavan Centre, West Kensington in June 2012. These remarkable works have been collated over the last year from private collections and galleries to be exhibited widely on an international platform.
Wanderlust by Rohit Chawla, London July 2012
NuGa Arthouse exhibited Wanderlust by Rohit Chawla at the Strand Gallery, London - a wonderful collection of mesmerising images that captures the true essence of the human spirit. With the Wanderlust repertoire, Rohit showcased with characteristic confidence, a portfolio of evocative portraits which is the result of tracking and living amidst the Rabari nomads from Gujarat. The images, all stark and old play a transportive function for the viewer.
Special Exhibition, London August 2011
The Special Exhibition, held at Asia House, London was NuGa Arthouse's first exhibition. It was with great pleasure that NuGa Arthouse curated an exhibition comprising of 10 modern pieces by Biswanath Mukherji (1921-87), 16 watercolour paintings of European influence plus 3 pencil sketches of Mahatma Gandhi by Bhoor Singh Shekhawat (1914-66) and a beautiful collection of 17 Indian Miniatures from 1970 onwards.
