Dushyant's softly rendered artworks take on popular themes of the day and are presented with a touch of humour. Such a combination makes his paintings and prints more than just works of art; they are also a form of visual social commentary. He has been a part of several exhibitions in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Baroda, and has been awarded the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi in 2002 and 2009 for the Student Category and Artist Category respectively. He also carried his practice in printmaking in several mediums. He had received National H.R.D scholarship 2009 and young research fellowship 2016. Dushyant has established his own Graphic Studio named “Studio Vichitra”in Baroda. Dushyant currently works as a Graphic Art Technical Expert in the Department of Graphic Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University.
