My works takes a closer look at the varied aspects of the use of technology, digital media etc, its influences on the society and nature. New technological advancement brought with it a lot of good things but also tagged in a lot of negative, harmful means to its end. As we progress to meet our need we seldom look at the microscopic things in nature, which too play a very important role in the building of the natural environment and our society.
The forms I use represent the techno- robotic nature of man, who with the use of technology has gone afar from his very own self, secluded from his natural surroundings. The analog / digital representation in my work looks at the various highs n lows in the society, which we hardly take note of. The upturned brain form shows the shallow nature of human thinking. The new generation which is so much into the various modes and means of using the newer technologies are also going far away from their natural elements. Thus through my work, I would like to comment on this very aspect of the void that is created by the influences of science, technology on the human behaviour and the surrounding. |
